I talked to my parents. They're going to talk to their friend about what is the absolute minimum we would need to get started. Also, doing some investigating into community partners or other groups that help out with small charities like us.
Next steps for me are to determine what the "costs" are both ways - us going on our own, or us using a benefactor.
Once we decide on our logo, we should put at least that and the mission statement and our contact info on the web page.
Maybe also draft some brochures or other collateral materials.
