| What tasks to we need to do to get started here: - Park domain names
- Determine costs that are anticipated per iPad (Purchase, refurb, engraving, accessories, software, shipping, etc)
- Form board of directors
- Open bank account
- Do legal paperwork to qualify as a charity (Do we need a lawyer to do this?)
- Determine fundraising platforms best suited to our mission
- Determine our marketing strategy
- Design and code our website

Adding to the list: - Determine annual operating cost of the foundation. Net hosting, cc payment fees, marketing/mailers, etc.

| hehe. Starting a proto-foundation is sort of fun. I found another task: - Get a Federal Tax ID number.

| I can do the design for the site, and the basic coding - html, css. Anything more deeply netgeeky will require someone with PHP or ASP skills.
I will do some roughs for logos. We should have a poll on the logos once I work them out. Deadline for logo roughs can be Monday. | |

- Get a Federal Tax ID number
- Register with appropriate government peoples to be a charity (CPA?)
- Get on Facebook, Twitter, and start a blog Done
- Develop content for website and blog
- Design logos In the works
- Set up paypal account to accept donations
- Determine our marketing strategy
- Determine our eligibility criteria
- Learn more about fiscal sponsorship/incubator services
